LEAVENWORTH

The Storm are a U11 independent competitive soccer team competing in the PSPL. The team is comprised of players from the upper Wenatchee Valley and was created out of the desire for greater competition and development.  The goals and coaching philosophy for this team are centered around:

These boys are coached by Joe Aponik who is the head coach, along with Han Slette and Mike Miller who are both assistant coaches.  These dad's have donated their time 2-3 times a week after work and on the weekends, all summer long to get this team ready to start the season. They have worked with each of these boys to develop their skills and show them how to work as a team but always promoting good sportsmanship and reminding them, win or lose, aways have fun.

This could not have been possible without the help of Aaron Simon, President of the Leavenworth Soccer Club, Sam Jerome, Registrar and Holly Simon, Sponsorship Coordinator. During this process Aaron and Sam helped with setting up tryouts, registration and U.S. Club paperwork.  Also, Holly spent countless hours ordering and reordering uniforms.  Last but not least, I would like to thank all the parents, grandparents and family member who support these kids day in and day out.  This could not be possible without all of you!
